DISC WITH FLOUNDER + ANEIVA

Eastbourne’s own DISC return to The Box for a hometown headline show, joined by two acts from further afield.

Among them are Flounder, a South London trio whose sound reaches back to the dirtier end of late-80s and early-90s alternative rock: fast, abrasive and cheerfully uninterested in polish, with comparisons ranging from Mudhoney and TAD to Nirvana, Black Flag and Melvins.

Aneiva complete a three-band bill which puts original music, rather than familiarity, at the centre of the evening. The show is presented by Konkrete, with DISC returning to headline on home territory after establishing themselves on Eastbourne’s independent live circuit.
