Four hours of 80s music. DJ Arnold is back — with DJ Maverick alongside him.

Maverick gets things moving at 7.30pm before Arnold takes over at 9pm. Between them: the records you remember, the ones you’d forgotten you loved, and requests chosen by the people on the dancefloor.

And this is one venue where dancing is more than an aspiration: The Grove has a proper sprung wooden dancefloor.

Come dressed as your 80s hero, recreate a favourite music-video look or retrieve something alarming from the back of the wardrobe. There’s a prize for the best-dressed guest.

No complicated concept. Just an entire evening devoted to the decade that gave us synth-pop, New Romantics, stadium anthems, indie, electro, soul and some exceptionally questionable trousers.
