If you’ve been missing the days when a record player was as essential as a kettle, then Eastbourne Rumble #3 is your prescription for spring fever. The Grove will be shaking like a jukebox that’s swallowed a thunderbolt, courtesy of DJ Special Rockin247radio and a line-up with more swing than a seaside pier in a gale.

At the helm is Dave Mumbles, a host whose name may suggest discretion but whose record box positively shouts. Joining him for April’s merry-go-round of guest DJs: Strop, Mike James, and Carrie Hope—each armed with the kind of vinyl that could raise the dead, or at least make them jive.

Expect Rock ’n’ Roll, Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues, 50s rarities, Doo Wop and Blues so irresistible you’ll find yourself choosing between the Jive, the Stroll or the Bop—and then sensibly deciding to attempt all three.
