Robin Hood, or The Merry Men and the Maid brings the legend of England’s favourite outlaw to life through the glorious melodies of Gilbert & Sullivan—and more.

This sparkling show blends familiar tunes and a beloved British folk tale, with witty new lyrics and a fresh, original script.

Originally devised by G&S enthusiasts Zoe and Stuart Sellens and performed with the Hull Savoyards, Eastbourne G&S is delighted to have been given permission to bring it to life here in the South East, offering audiences a rare chance to enjoy a new take on the Robin Hood legend.

Expect dashing heroes, dramatic disguises, hopeless henchmen and a Marian who’s more than a match for any Merry Man. It’s cheeky, charming, and delightfully tuneful — all wrapped up in a warm, family-friendly festive show.
